Former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has been accused of receiving proceeds from an illegal Mahadev betting app. The state's economic offences wing filed an FIR against 20 accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code in the alleged ₹5,500 crore Mahadev app case. The report claims that Baghel and his associates regularly received the proceeds. The ED has urged the state police to investigate the alleged role of politicians and police personnel.
