Bionaut Labs, a startup that says it has created "microscale robots" which can deliver biologics, nucleic acids, or small molecule therapies into a person's brain, says it has raised $20M in a funding round. The funding was led by Khosla Ventures, and also included Upfront Ventures, Revolution, BOLD Capital, and Compound. The company says its robots are remote controlled, and are initially focused on treatments of glioma and Huntington's disease. The company is led by Michael Shpigelmacher, co-founder and CEO. The company says its tiny robots are smaller than a millimeter, and are controlled remotely by a magnetic controller.
