Birmingham’s rapid transit bus system breaks ground on terminal

Birmingham Xpress, the city’s planned rapid transit bus system, held a groundbreaking ceremony Friday to announce upcoming construction on a West Terminus Station near the CrossPlex at Five Points West. Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin stands beside the first of what will be at least 11 orange Birmingham Xpress buses.
