OGDENSBURG, N.Y. (WWNY) - Last week’s violence at the U.S. Capitol drew a response from the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg.
In a January 7 video message posted on the diocese website, Bishop Terry LaValley said, “Yesterday’s frightening and surreal episode in our nation’s capitol was shameful and embarrassing evidence of our fractured, degraded state.”
Bishop LaValley prayed to St. Joseph for for help in keeping people calm and serene.
