(WWNY) - Last weekâs violence at the U.S. Capitol drew a response from the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Ogdensburg. In a January 7 video message posted on the diocese website, Bishop Terry LaValley said, âYesterdayâs frightening and surreal episode in our nationâs capitol was shameful and embarrassing evidence of our fractured, degraded state.â Bishop LaValley prayed to St. Joseph for for help in keeping people calm and serene.
