AN MMA fighter and the owner of a martial arts club think gyms should stay open in tier four as it is their livelihood and mental health at stake. Blackburn Predators owner Rob Freedman and MMA fighter Hassan Hussain both feel the new tier four restrictions against gyms opening will do more harm than good. It was announced on Wednesday late afternoon that East Lancashire and Blackburn would go into tier 4, meaning a ban on household mixing, leaving or entering the area and all non-essential shops and leisure facilities to close. Mr Freedman said: “It’s not just about the business, but shutting down is not the right thing as we know benefits we bring to people, keeping them healthy, out of hospital and sane.
