According to a report in a leading daily, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has filed a complaint against Sonu Sood for allegedly converting a six-storey residential area into a hotel in Juhu without due permissions. Sonu Sood has however denied these rumours and said that he had the necessary permissions and was awaiting clearance from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA). As per the report in Times Of India, the Juhu police was asked by the BMC to take cognisance of the offence under the Maharashtra Region and Town Planning (MRTP) Act.
