BOARD OF ALDERMEN APPROVES RECORDS MANAGEMENT AND SOFTWARE SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ANOTHER CITY'S P.D. | KMMO


The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved a records management and software services agreement with the Waverly Police Department during its meeting on Monday, December 7.
According to City Administrator Jeanette Dobson, Waverly will pay Higginsville $2,500 for the service. Higginsville also has agreements of this type with the cities of Odessa, Lexington, Concordia, Bates City and Napoleon. She said the amount paid for the service varies depending on the number of officers each city has.
In other news, the board recognized Brandon Craig for 20 years of service and Matthew Cushman for five years of service.
Also, Dobson reminds residents who wish to run for Board of Aldermen positions during the Municipal Election will have their opportunity to get their name on the ballot beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15. The candidate filing period runs during regular business hours through 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Board of Aldermen positions up for election this year are the seats held by Scott Rhoad in Ward 1, Beau Linebach in Ward 2 and Stanton Thompson in Ward 3.
