First Friday Astronomy Event<br/>Friday, January 6th 2023, 7:30pm<br/>Boise State University Science and Education Building, Room 112<br/><br/>Jared Hand<br/> University of Pittsburgh<br/><br/>Exploring Type Ia Supernova Variation with a Next Generation Model<br/><br/> Join Boise State Physics on Friday, January 6th at 7:30pm in the Education/Science Building, room 112 to hear Jared Hand of University of Pittsburgh present an overview of supernova variation. The event is free and open to the public.<br/>For those that cannot attend in person, the lecture will be live-streamed on Youtube at boi.st/AstroBroncosLive. Those attending the live-stream are welcome and encouraged to ask questions via chat.<br/>After the lecture we will stargaze in Boise State's observatory, weather permitting.
