A middle school on Midway Drive in Temple was placed on lockdown by police Thursday as they searched the area for a suspect. According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, Temple PD's search was concentrated along a creek behind Smith Supply Co. in the 5200 block of Midway Drive. Officers found their suspect, who police say is named in a parole warrant, at approximately 1:15 p.m. The suspect's name was not released. Bonham Middle School is also located on Midway Drive in close proximity to the area that authorities were searching. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible, police asked that the school go on lockdown.
