Poole Magistrates Court A DRINK driver who was more than four times the limit has received a suspended prison sentence and a five-year driving ban. Serge Van Den Heerik, 45, was at the wheel of a BMW when he was caught by officers in West Cliff Gardens, Bournemouth, on February 3. The defendant was found to not have a driving licence or insurance and he initially failed to stop for police. Van Den Heerik, whose address was given as West Cliff Gardens, admitted drink driving, using a vehicle without insurance, driving without a licence and failing to stop for an officer. During a hearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on April 28, he was committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for two years.
