The unusual incident started Monday afternoon while two juveniles were hiking in Green Canyon above North Logan. The Cache County Sheriff’s Office office did not release the boys’ ages, but the Cache Valley Daily reported the boys are in their teens. The boys went “off-trail hiking,” the sheriff's office said in a statement, using a large knife to cut through the brush. The knife somehow became lost and as the boys were looking for it, they “slid down a hill on their backsides,” the sheriff's office said.
