BPSO and DPD issue joint press release regarding narcotics arrests Joint Law Enforcement News Release The following joint press release was issued by the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office and the DeRidder Police Department on May 7, 2021: On 05/06/2021, the DeRIdder Police Department responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the area of North Texas Street in DeRidder. Upon arrival, DeRidder PD arrested Tristen Jamel Lamons (B/M, DOB 07/25/1986) for Simple Battery. Upon arriving at the Beauregard Parish Jail, DeRidder officers located marijuana that Lamons attempted to dispose of in the patrol unit. Later during booking, deputies located marujuana and mathamphetamine that he was concaealing on his person.
