Luckily, damage seems to have been limited to the door, and there was no other apparent damage, or items missing from the museum’s interior. Sometime Friday night, the window was smashed in the back door to the museum at Fort Bayard — located inside one of the Victorian-style homes that were built to house the officers of the fort. While the door was heavily damaged, that may have been the extent of the property loss, according to officials.
