KALAMAZOO, MI -- Caring for patients nearing the end of their life takes an extraordinary amount of compassion. Doing so during a global pandemic requires even more.
Bronson physician Dr. Ernest “Skip” Spirito said the required isolation of patients -- whether battling COVID-19 or cancer -- makes his job in palliative care that much more challenging.
