On Monday, Feb. 1 Deputy Saydie Bradley spoke with a victim who said she had been scammed when trying to buy a dog online. A report was made. On Thursday, Feb. 4 Lt. Pete Bastardo was dispatched to CR 172. This was in regards to illegal dumping. There were two large piles of burned debris dumped just off the roadway. There are no suspects to list. On Thursday, Feb. 4 at about 1:12 p.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson responded to FM 2492. This was in regards to a criminal mischief, which had already occurred during the night. Upon arriving on scene, Deputy Simpson met with the caller who stated someone had stolen part of the exhaust system. Simpson made contact with the owner of the vehicle who advised he does want to pursue charges against whoever stole the catalytic converter. A report was made.
