Bruce Power celebrated another company milestone. It was one year ago this past January, that Bruce Power launched their Major Component Replacement Project with the refurbishment of Unit 6 at Bruce B. Officials marked the occasion Tuesday afternoon with a virtual event. Director of Corporate Communications John Peevers says they were able to remove 50,000 feet of feeder tube from the vault, and the lower feeders despite being in the middle of a pandemic.
Peevers says they hope to continue with the development of medical isotopes including Lutetium-177, which is used to treat prostate cancer.
