Online configurators are both a gift to humankind and a bane for any car-nut who wants to be productive. We’ve lost count on how many times and on how many sites we’ve whiled away the hours, spec’ing fantasy perfection. It turns out, even Bugatti has their own dedicated configurator, but it’s kept off-limits to us plebeians, lest we dream of winning the lottery or inheriting unknown millions. Luckily for us, one mere mortal was granted (limited) access to go wild. Daniel Golson from CNET wasn’t fortunate enough to have a set of keys to a $3.6m hypercar, but Bugatti did grant him access to play around in the Chiron Pur Sport’s secret customer configurator – for an hour.
