Royal Saskatchewan Museum gets unauthorized renovation from stolen car A Saskatchewan man was charged earlier this year after crashing a stolen four-door car through the front entrance of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum in Regina and creating an exhibit he later called “quite a mess.” Yes, yes, it is. The man and stolen car took out the front entrance, another glass wall inside, and made a bloody mess all over the staff room, including in the fridge where he allegedly helped himself to a snack. All that smashing is hungry work. When police arrived, he was arrested and later hit with a standalone restitution order for $50k, a 2,600 SGI and a $700 fine payable to the owner of the vehicle for her deductible. He also will not be driving for the next five years.
