CHASSELL — Chassell Township Schools has been building a working relationship with the local community through both the Portage Health Foundation and the Chassell Township Planning Committee. One of the latest partnership projects is the new township logo designed by Chassell student Aili O’Connor. O’Connor, a senior, was encouraged to engage in the opportunity by Chassell Superintendent Steve Spahn. “I heard it was kind of a thing that was going on through Chassell, but Mr. Spahn actually told me that it was going to happen,” she said. “He recommended me for it, and I did it.”
