HomeAid Hawaii Ward Village has partnered with general contractor Albert C. Kobayashi Inc. to complete the first two tiny homes in the new Kamaʻokū community in West O‘ahu. The homes are part of Home Aid Hawaiʻi’s Kauhale Project -- an initiative to build tiny homes in Kalaeloa for Oahu’s unsheltered population. Each home has an 80-square-foot interior with a 20-square-foot lanai, and features high, open ceilings. There will be a shared communal garden and kitchen.
