SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 20 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) [BUL:BSE], which operates the country's sole stock exchange, said on Tuesday that it repurchased 12,865 own shares through its wholly-owned unit Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) on April 19. IBEX bought the shares at a price of 6 levs ($3.69/3.07 euro) apiece, the BSE said in a statement. The shares were acquired as part of a share repurchase programme launched on January 22 and targeting up to 197,000 shares in the BSE. IBEX has purchased 116,815 shares in the BSE since the start of the programme.
