Burglar runs out of chances, gets year in jail Article by May 11, 2021 Dequan Kareem Bobb ran out of chances when he appeared Monday before a District ‘A’ magistrate for not keeping a promise to stay out of trouble. The 24-year-old of Garden Land, Country Road, St Michael was sentenced to one year in prison for two acts of burglary. Last September, Magistrate Manila Renee placed Bobb on an 18-month bond to keep the peace and be on good behaviour. The penalty for the bond was $500 in one week or two days in prison. But within that time, he was back before another magistrate who gave him a chance to get over his drug habit at Verdun House but the court heard he squandered that opportunity by being expelled over a fracas with another client.
