CAA to grant citizenship with retrospective effect : vimarsa

Eligible applicants under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 will be granted Indian nationality with retrospective effect. The Ministry of Home Affairs launched a portal for application submission with FAQs. The Act allows fast-track citizenship for non-Muslim migrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan before December 31, 2014.
