O3/08/2021, Cabinet Secretary for Defence Ambassador Monica Juma joined family, friends and relatives to bid farewell to the late retired General Jackson Munyao. General Munyao passed on two weeks ago and was laid to rest today at his rural home in Wote,Makueni county. In her address to the mourners,CS Juma conveyed a message of condolences from the Commander in Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces H.E president Uhuru Kenyatta, who described the late Gen. Munyao as a hardworking soldier who was in the frontline in ensuring discipline in the forces is adhered to. Present during the burial ceremony were senior officers, retired officers, county commissioner, service members among other dignitaries.
