June 4, 2021 Rattankun Thongbun/iStock Cal/OSHA has passed new coronavirus guidelines for the workplace. Officials voted last night to pass changes to the guidelines. According to the proposal, if anyone in the workplace is not vaccinated, everyone must wear masks in the same room. If everyone in a room is vaccinated, they do not have to wear a mask. The new rules are expected to take place on June 15th. The same proposal was initially rejected before officials voted again to pass it. Officials said that the rejection of the proposal meant that the current rules, which are stricter, would’ve stayed in place.
