Can’t study abroad with no degree BySalonee MistrySalonee Mistry / Updated: Jun 4, 2021, 07:14 IST 4,000 SPPU students have not yet received important document, pushing ahead plans to fly out; officials promise resolution soon. Every imaginable aspect of education is bearing the brunt of the pandemic, with everything done differently than before. When a strict lockdown was imposed across the state last year, the 2020 examinations for many students were pushed to 2021, further delaying their result dates. After results, the next step was the convocation, which for many students who graduated in 2020 is still pending. Students who plan to study abroad require these degrees at the time of admission and have been complaining about not receiving them in time, affecting their admission process at their international universities. Authorities, who are aware of the issue, said it should be resolved in a couple of days.
