In April, school officials had announced two outdoor events would take place, splitting the graduating class into two ceremonies to maximize the allowed number of guests while following social distancing protocols. On May 12, Gov. John Carney moved social distancing requirements from 6 feet to 3 feet, and on May 14, Cape High officials informed seniors they would graduate as a class.
