The general secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has revealed that the hard knock the member of Parliament for Tema West constituency receieved for ballot snatching is legitimate. According to him had it not been the intervention of a blow on the MP’s jaw he wouldn’t have vomited the ballot papers he had in his mouth. Recall that on 7th January 2021 during the election of the next Speaker of Parliament, Carlos Ahenkorah snatched some ballot papers and allegedly started chewing some but were retrieved from him later. Speaking in an interview, Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the blow the MP received was a legitimate one because it’s the reason the ballot papers were retrieved from the MP.
