(WBTV) - Lesson plans aren’t the only thing Gaston County teachers will be returning to the classroom with on Monday. CaroMont Health, along with the Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services, kicked off its three-day mass vaccine event for teachers, childcare workers, and other school staff on Wednesday. It’s a BIG day for educators, child care workers, & other school personnel here in NC. Today is the first day they’re able to get their #COVID19#vaccine. I’m here at @CaroMontHealth where they have a 3 day mass vaccine event set up for teachers and other school staff. pic.twitter.com/1HnDSCsPzb— Courtney Cole WBTV (@imcourtneyjcole) February 24, 2021
