Posted submitted to Times On the morning of February 11th, 2021, the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of Power Lines being stolen from the Hwy. 521/Greeleyville Hwy. area of Clarendon County. The theft was discovered after Power Crews responded to a power outage in that area. On February 27, 2021, Michael Wayne Buttery, 58 years old and Kimberly Kay Buttery, 55 years old of Summerville SC were arrested after Investigators and Deputies received information that there was a white Ford service truck (see above) on Hwy. 521, in the area where the theft had taken place. Investigators also recovered multiple tools consistent with this type of theft during the arrests. The Investigation is still ongoing in this case.
