According to Superintendent Mike Fisher, the opposite happened. Fisher says the district’s attendance rate has gone up as well – with the percentage of students gone falling below 5%. He says if this number eclipses 10%, then the district would go to completely remote learning. Fisher explains that the tentative plans for grades 7 through 12 is to get fully back in classes after Christmas break. In order to do this, the district will need 5 days in a row where the absentee rate is under 10%.
