Who knows what 2021 has in store for us, but I was very happy to take down my 2020 calendars and replace them with brand new, start-from-scratch, chronological markers of 2021. January can be a hard month to appreciate. The joy and excitement from the holidays is over, schoolwork starts up again, it’s usually cold and gray, and there are 31 long days to endure. That’s why January is the perfect choice for National Hobby Month (it’s also National Hot Tea Month, so start brewing). Whether you already have a hobby you enjoy or are looking for something to keep you busy during the long month of January, the library can assist you.
