Chennai-based Agnikul prepares for maiden sub-orbital flight

Chennai-based Agnikul Cosmos is preparing for the sub-orbital test flight of its 3D-printed rocket Agnibaan SubOrbital Technological Demonstrator (SOrTeD) from its launch pad at Sriharikota. The single-stage rocket is powered by an Agnilet semi-cryogenic engine that was integrated with Agnikul's launch pad earlier this week. The rocket will serve as a validation of the company's autopilot, navigation and guidance algorithms, according to Srinath Ravichandran, co-founder and CEO.
