Shortly after 4 p.m. Monday, Meceola Central Dispatch received a 911 call about a stabbing that occurred in the 400 block of South Pine Street in the city of Evart, according to a news release from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the location along with Osceola County EMS. Deputies located a young child that had suffered multiple life-threatening stab wounds. The juvenile was transported from the scene to Grand Rapids to undergo surgery.
