Cinderella Project 11:11 pm Prom is a night most people never forget and in 2020 many students didn’t have a prom as they were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. If schools in Cambria County do have prom this school year local nonprofit the Johnstown Cinderella Project hopes to give local girls memories that will last a lifetime. For the last 15 years the Johnstown Cinderella Project has given girls prom dresses for free and in 2020 the hundreds of donated dresses never left the racks. Founder Megan Livingston says local high schools have told her they plan to have a prom in some shape or form. Plans to get girls the dresses safely are already in the works.
