One could say that Hans Mercer has been training for his position as Sheridan City Engineer since he was a young boy. His father worked construction and often took Mercer and his brother to work. On the job sites, tucked safely off to the side, Mercer and his brother would stay busy by building city streets for their toy cars and trucks. During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Mercer told listeners the piece of advice his father gave him that would lead him to become Sheridan’s City Engineer. H. Mercer The City of Sheridan Engineering Department is planning for a busy year of construction. Eighteen projects are tentatively scheduled for the 2021 year.
