Cheboygan Daily Tribune CHEBOYGAN — The City of Cheboygan has issued a mandatory let water run notice for the entire city, effective Feb. 8, until further notice, with residents and businesses being asked to run their water nonstop. Cheboygan City Department of Public Works, Water and Wastewater Director Jason Karmol said this is something that is done almost every year, having happened four of the last five years. The water should be run in a pencil sized stream, up to the size of a cigar, in one sink in homes or businesses, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This should be done until sometime in the spring when you are notified you can stop running water.
