The city said Thursday that the pool would now open at 12:30 p.m. June 4, citing the change as the best decision for the lifeguards and for the safety of swimmers. The pool will be open June 4-6 from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Starting June 9, it will begin its summer schedule of 12:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. The pool will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Daily admission is $3 for those 12 or under or those 62 or older and $4 for others. Information on passes and booking pool parties is available by calling 217-479-4613.
