Photo: WINA CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – City pools and spray grounds closed last summer because of the pandemic will reopen Saturday. Charlottesville Parks & Rec will reopen the Crow and Washington Park pools. In addition to the pool reopening at Washington Park, they’re also reopening the zero-depth play area, waterslide, and mushroom falls. The spray grounds, which could not open previously because of state distancing and masking restrictions, will reopen at Belmont, Greenleaf, and Tonsler parks Saturday. Because of mechanical issues, the spray grounds at Forest Hills Park cannot open until mid-June. Click here for hours and all the information.
