Another client at the Tom Brown Respite Centre has tested positive for COVID-19, a memo to Ottawa city councillors confirmed Thursday.
The client stayed overnight at the respite centre in the arena on Wednesday, but was moved to a Cobourg Street isolation centre after testing positive. The client was also receiving case management through Inner City Health, said the memo from the city’s community and social services department.

The Tom Brown Respite Centre continued to remain open and was still accepting clients on the advice of Ottawa Public Health, which was to conduct surveillance testing on-site and continue to monitor the situation, the memo added.
