Climate Change and Conflict Slow Down Progress Despite Record Results

The Global Fund’s 2023 Results Report released today shows a remarkable acceleration of programmatic results in the fight against HIV, TB and malaria, after losses from the COVID-19 pandemic. However, multiple challenges, including climate change and conflict, as well as deepening inequalities and growing threats to human rights, have put the target to end AIDS, TB and malaria by 2030 increasingly at risk.
