Clive police identify three Des Moines teens killed in crash

Police release identities of Des Moines-area teens killed in high-speed chase

The Clive Police Department has identified three Des Moines teenagers who died early Monday in a high-speed crash following an officer pursuit.
Emmanuel Nyariel, 16, Majok Nyariel, 14, and Zacharia Warsame, 14, were killed, and two other teens were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to a news release from Clive police. 
All of the occupants were students of Des Moines Public Schools. According to the district, Emmanuel Nyariel attended Hoover High School, Warsame went to Roosevelt High School and Majok Nyariel attended Callanan Middle School.
