The closing date for the Dublin City Development Plan Schools Poster Competition has been extended to Friday, 30th April 2021 to facilitate schools returning to their classrooms this month. The Lord Mayor of Dublin Hazel Chu has invited primary students from 3rd to 6th class to create a poster of their vision for the city as part of the public engagement process for the Dublin City Development Plan 2022- 2028. If schools would like their students to talk to the Lord Mayor about their posters, she would be delighted to chat to them online. The Dublin City Development Plan sets out a vision and direction for the future of the city acting as an over-arching roadmap for the development of our city, protection of our environment, heritage, and amenities as well as in mitigating against climate change. The Plan is currently under review and a dedicated website in place to assist members of the public to be informed and to engage with the consultation process.
