Sam Shriver | The Lima News OTTAWA — A Cloverdale man Monday afternoon waived his right to a jury trial in a case involving sexual contact with minors. Larry J. Burkhart, 77, instead will face Putnam County Common Pleas Court Judge Keith Schierloh on nine charges. Three of them are first-degree felony rape charges, four of them are third-degree gross sexual imposition charges and two are fourth-degree felony gross sexual imposition charges. The incidents allegedly occurred between January 2017 through October 2019 and involved victims under the age of 13.
