CMS has provided Prescription Drug Event (PDE) reporting guidance to Medicare Part D sponsors regarding rebates and other price concessions at the point of sale. This guidance is applicable in all phases of the Part D benefit, including the coverage gap. PDE is the summary record that a prescription drug plan sponsor needs to submit to CMS after every time a beneficiary fills a prescription under Medicare Part D.
