CMU ranked second for US undergraduate computer science programs 09 Feb 2021 - 8:40 The Peninsula Doha: Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) was ranked second for US undergraduate computer science programs by US News & World Report, a leader in educational analysis and rankings. Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, a partner university of Qatar Foundation (QF), has taught the top-ranked computer science program since opening its doors in 2004. Dean of CMU-Q, Michael Trick said, “Computer science education is an important focus for Carnegie Mellon, and for our campus in Qatar. Our students can attest that this is a rigorous program, but over four years of study, they acquire the fundamental skills to develop new technologies and shape the frontiers of computing.”
