Heart of gratitude and amidst what in haiti, tonight. Thats what they are saying about the release of the woman who was held hostage for nearly two weeks in portauprince. Unclear who was responsible and no comment from the authorities. The organization the woman and her husband worked with says there is still much to promise and much to heal. According to the u. N. , there are more than 1000 kidnappings in haiti in the first half of the year. The news continues. The source with Kaitlan Collins starts now. Tonight, straight from the source the fbi shoots and kills a man in the Early Morning raid after he allegedly made online threats to kill President Biden. His disturbing social media post on and more on how and why this happened. Plus New York City mayor eric adams pleading for help from President Biden as the migrant crisis in its New York City gets worse. Federal officials are in the city tonight, mayor adams is here live. Paradises burning. Hawaii is in flames. Deadly wildfires are creating apocalyptic scenes and one of the biggest Tourist Destinations in the world. Im Kaitlan Collins, and this is the source. A president ial scare tonight as President Biden is spending the knot in salt lake city, during his first trip to utah since taking office. But just hours before he arrived, the fbi shot and killed a suspect while they were carrying out a Search Warrant against a man allegedly making Death Threats against the president and other highprofile democrats. It happened while they were trying to arrest him this morning. The source tells cnn, swat agents were giving commands to the suspect, Craig Robertson, when he pointed a gun at them. President bought was briefed by senior staff on the incident before he touched down in utah. We should note, some of these threats from the suspect were posted only days ago, including this one that was shown in the criminal complaint. He said, quote, i hear bidens coming to utah. Digging out my old gillies suit and cleaning off the dust from i am 24 trifle. An agent on the case said, in the complaint, the suspected actually own that rifle. And the camouflage suit. And these pictures were posted along with it. A witness to the right described what she heard early this morning. Little before six, there was a big boom. Then there was another one. And another one. And another one. They called for my neighbor to come. Out hes like, im not coming out, [bleep]. Then i didnt hear anything after that. Robertson posted pictures online of numerous weapons online and also issued threats to trump prosecutors, people prosecuting the former president , including new York District attorney alvin bragg. Im joined now tonight by the mayor of New York City, eric adams. Mayor adams, thank you for being here. Obviously, we wanted you to come on to talk about immigration and whats happening in the city. Well get to that in a moment. But on this disturbing story, about what we learned today, this raid being carried out. This meant not only threaten President Biden, allegedly, but also the Vice President , attorney general, the District Attorney and manhattan, alvin bragg. Do you feel like threats to Public Officials have gotten worse and what do you think is driving that . I think it is a combination of over proliferation of guns in our country. The Real Mental Health illnesses that we are seeing, and social media. We say this over and over again. We had a summit here in new york, to see the impact of social media on our young people. Young adults. Those threats, the fbi, you have to really commend him for taking this seriously and carrying out a proper investigation. Are you more nervous to be a publicly elected official today . You are always concerned. I have great detail. Nypd know their job very well. We allow them to handle it, and to do what they tell us to do. We look at the instructions coming from our Intel Division when we get those threats, and we assess them well and make sure that things are done properly. New york city is dealing with an unprecedented influx of Tens Of Thousands of people who are seeking asylum. You say, you said today, you pull it it will cost up to 12 billion to care for them over the next three years. You said you need federal help. Did you think that youre going to get it . Yes, i do. I believe that we have a dhs team on the ground here now. And there is something that our team, the deputy mayor is in charge of this initiative. We have been walking through a Business Leader isnt, working for eight congressional delegation to see exactly whats taking place. We were successful to keep this from spilling over onto our streets for over a year. What you saw in front of the Roosevelt Hotel was really that it was overwhelming on the day it finally burst. What youre referencing, for people who dont know, is just recently the system clearly broke down. 200 migrants were sleeping outside on the sidewalk of the Roosevelt Hotel, just around the corner from Grand Central station. Who is responsible for that image, for seeing those pictures of people sleeping out on the sidewalks . Im the mayor of the city of new york. I take responsibilities for anything happens in the city. Its my obligation to make sure that new york is safe. We received an overwhelming number of individuals, we already reached the maximum of how many people we can house. For that period of time, we could not place people in the Roosevelt Hotel. We still have to abide by the restrictions for our capacity for safety. We were able to find them temporary shelter and other locations. But we cannot state that this wont happen once again. You cant say it wont happen again . No we cannot. We received over 90,000 people in our city, ive been saying for sometime we need relief. We need help. This is a national crisis. And it should be handled by National Resources and national policies. What do you say to white house officials who see your calls for federal help, yes theres a dhs team here, theyll report back to secretary mayorkas. But the white house says, new york has already gotten 140 million from the federal government, more than any city that its not a border city. What do you say to them when they say you are getting more help than other places . I think you started off the broadcast. The numbers, 12 Billion Dollars over three years. 12 Billion Dollars over three years. Weve already spent over One Billion Dollars already. And to state that 100 million to address the national 12 Billion Dollars problem, we are saying we need more. And then we need other. Is we need a real decompression strategy at the border. We need to allow these migrants, Asylum Seekers to do, what i believe is the most american thing to do. To work. What is the most antiamerican thing then not being able to work . What does the white house say speeding up work permits. They are already shorter than other periods. Has the what house said anything t o you . When you say short, theres such a backlog of cases that the Spirited Energy within six months, people able to get a job . Thats not a reality. Some of these Asylum Seekers will have to wait anywhere from a year to a year and a half. Thats a long time for new yorkers to have to carry this burden. And that is part of the ongoing conversation were having with the white house right now. That is the hope were having with the dhs team here. And my congressional deliberation, i take my head off to the governor of massachusetts whos also taking the same pain. We need a real strategy to deal with this. Youre asking the federal government to declare a state of emergency. So far they have done some. What is your relationship with President Biden at this point . I think that ive got a pretty Good Relationship with the president , with my colleagues across the entire country. We have to separate our disagreement on the topic with do we have a relationship. There are many issues we see, not only in the city, but this country. In every place i disagree, im going to be honest about it. We have certainly seen that, but have you spoken with him about the specific asks you have . Yes we have. When did you last . Talk last year, when he was here. I spoke with white house staff, white house teams on this. We sent letters, weve got the mayors from the largest cities, houston endless angeles, we sent them illiterate to sit down, we want to speak with the president on this. But you havent spoken with him this year. No i have not. I spoke with authorities in our team, their community with the white house as well. Do you support his Reelection Bid . Yes, i met a clear. I believe hes moving the country in the right direction and we need to continue to move in the right direction. I can separate what i believe and cant agree and disagree on how we are addressing it. I said the people of the city of new york. Speaking of campaigns, in early july, the manhattan District Attorney and i get six people, including the former new York Police Department officer, and this straw donor scheme, that said the nations to your campaign for mayor in 2021. Neither you nor anyone on your campaign accused of any wrongdoing. I should note that. But were you aware of any of that . Whats your response to the charges . Im not aware at all. I follow one rule which is follow the rules. The District Attorney has done an investigation, he did so, he was clear that our campaign had no participation in that. Its an unfortunate situation. I have a lot of faith and the d. A. s office, hes going to follow this through to its conclusion. So you are not worried anyone from your team would have legal exposure on that . I think they did their own investigation. They left out in the indictment and everything that was committed to it exactly what happens. And they met and determination that our team its been a really challenging summer here in new york. Not only whats happening with migrants, of course, the situation at rikers trail has gotten so bad that federal already are considering taking over it. I know you disagree with that and dont believe thats necessary. There is also a Law Enforcement investigation into a former member of your administration. When you look at the big picture, all of the problems that New York City is facing, do you feel that you and your administration can adequately handle those issues . You tell me, when was the time you didnt have a lot going on in new york . Thats true but you are dealing with a lot from the summer. Im on it. When the game is on the line, dont pass the ball. You want to last shot. Lets look at the reality. Im considering the jobs we lost prepandemic. Decreasing crime, decreasing shootings, decreasing homicides. Tourism is up. We have got a double a bond writing in the city of new york. This is the place to be right now. I didnt run for mayor to worry about what woe is me, i said i wanted to be mayor, why not me. Is it more challenging than you thought it would be . Not at all. Every day, you do the best you can, give it your all. New yorkers know one thing about me. Im a before everybody else and i go to a bit after everyone else to major this cities operating right. This is the right time for me to be the mayor. Law enforcement not only that, weve gone through a lot. I can help people going through a lot. I want to be the mayor of the city of new york. You have a lot on your plate. I have to askou about this bizarre report that was in the new york times, recently, about a photo that you carry in your wallet. And that you have spoken very publicly about. It is of officer robert who was killed in the line of duty in 1987 and you pulled it out after two of the officers have been killed, talking about how meaningful it was. New york times reported, saying, that photo had been created, it had not actually been carried in your wallet for decades. It was created by staff in your office. Your office, i should note, denied the story and said it had been in your wallet for decades. Can you just clear that up . What happened with that . I have the original newsletter that was produced by the department of the original. The original. So what would i have to reproduce something that i had the original for . The family knew me. Robbie was a dear friend. There was a lot of anger attached to that story that allowed a lot of not to get emotionally tied. It was wrong to do that. But there is not much i can do about that. I cant control what people want to write. No one was instructed by me to do anything with the original photo that i had, that i carried off my friend. This was a dear friend of mine. It was a very painful moment to happen. Not only recreate, but to state i would do Something Like that to someone that i was that close to. So youre saying, they said the picture is found on google, it was printed and Black And White and made to look worn. That someone splashed coffee on it. Youre saying none of that was true . Im saying, i have the original. The one on google theyre talking about, i have the original. I dont know how clearer i can be. The family was also saying, we know eric adams. Eric has been with our family and it was wrong to do. His daughter spoke about that after. And his other relatives, as well. Mayor eric adams, thank you for being here and answer our questions. And of course, if you do hear from President Biden on what is the Biggest Issue that youre facing right now, please let us know. Well do. Thanks for joining us in the studio tonight. Ahead, much more on what we were talking about at the beginning. The fbi right where a man allegedly threatening the president , shot and killed in the early hours of utah this morning. Wildfires are burning out of control in hawaii. At least six people have been killed. National guard has been deployed, thousands of people evacuating. Well speak to some still on the ground tonight. Tonight we are learning chilling new details about Identity Confrontation between a man accused of threatening to assassinate President Biden and fbi agents who showed up at a utah home before dawn. Law enforcement Officials Say that Craig Robertson was armed to the teeth and facing federal charges for threats not only against the president but also several other prominent democrats, the fbi, prosecutors who have brought cases against former President Trump. All of this happened this morning, and the big questions, now what happened when agents moved in to arrest the suspect . And how did the feds tell the difference between bluster and what is a deadly serious Terror Threat . Lets get some answers from cnn senior crime and justice correspondent simon prokupecz. And Cnn National Security analyst juliette kayyem. Thank you both for being. Here simone, i feel like killing someone is incredibly rare. Yes, its incredibly rare, they prepare for this and its clear they did prepare for this really heavily. Because they were expecting, perhaps, to meet some kind of resistance. So this really all begins several months ago. But it heats up on monday when this individual, greg robertson, tweets, or not tweets, i should say he posts on facebook that the president is coming to utah and that it is time for him to take action, talks about his weapon, talks about what he is gonna wear. And what happens is the fbi says, okay, we need to go, when we need to take him down, this is a threat, the president is coming here, he is talking about, killing the president. So they go into really full action. They devise a plan and they go in. They put this plan together. Earlier this morning, you ow, while they are suiting, up and putting on all of their, gear getting ready to go after him, the president is planning to his trip to utah. They go, and it is dark, out early in the mornings, exam. Essentially taken off the, street is accommodation with the, fbi to come to the, house they have a correlation with him, something happens, i am told you put out a handgun, and that is when the fbi shot and killed him. This all happened, you, know he had making threats not just against President Biden but also several other issues officials here as well. He referred to one of his, guns are business in a complaint, as a democrat eradicated. I mean, it wasnt even just this post in the recent days. He has been making these four months. For months, and so the fbi gets alerted to him back in march, because he is posting messages about Killing Alvin Bragg the manhattan d. A. Who is prosecuting donald trump. And clearly he is a trump supporter, the fbi knows this, they go to his house, they talk to him, basically saying we are on to you. What are you doing . What is going on . And they want to make sure he is not coming to new york to take action. He doesnt come, here there is no evidence that he ever comes here. But they are so worried that they went there. And then what he, does he continues to post Facebook Messages freshening the fbi agents who came to him, threatening others, continuing to threaten the president. He also made threats towards the Vice President , the governor of california, gavin newsom. The attorney general. So this has been going on for months and months and months. But what changes everything as they makes this post about killing the president while he is in utah. So that changed everything. Just hours before biden was going to do their, to arrive there. Julia, as we are talking about how this is happening, the President Biden is set to arrive there. You know, this is, the post that someone is referencing, i want to show, because i hear biden is coming to you talk, Kicking My Old Kelly suit and sniper rifle. I guess my question is, people say crazy things online all the time. What is the threshold for when the fbi does go and conduct a raid as they were planning to do this morning . Well, first, they will probably learn more of some of this investigation. Some stuff that is in the affidavit may not actually be everything they know. What we know at this stage is that what he was saying was scary enough for a social media platform, we dont know if it was facebook, but facebook is mentioned a lot. He also used truth social a lot. And advise the National Terrorism operations center, the end top. This is an fbi entity that is being fed a lot of this stuff, its getting online and trying to make a determination between what is just hate, what is just people, you know, blowing off steam, and what is real. And basically they are going to focus on methods, means, and motives. And in this case, he had all three. He was blessed, i mean, he was sort of being performative online. He is directing statements to the fbi. I know you are watching, i know biden is here. He has the motives, he has the means. And they also know that he is highly armed. And those three things would then trigger something much more, then you, know some one posting online or they dont like biden or they dont like the Vice President. Yeah, i mean, they had been here in march. He saw them, he told them, dont come back. Without a warrant. But i think it is hard to ignore here is the backdrop of the climate that we are living in, which is this heightened political polarization. I mean, trump obviously has been indicted three times. He railed against the people who are enabling those indictments every single day almost. I mean, what is the correlation in what this looks like now, and if there is an uptick in violence . And violent threats like this . Absolutely, the fbi director has said so. Has said that he has never seen it in a threat environment like this heading into the election, especially targeted against people, running in targeted against democrats in particular. When we see the online chatter. Even though there are attacks against republicans. And its just that we are looking a quantity at the stage. So people think about incitement, like you know, the former President Trump might Say Something and people go off and do something. Its a little bit more complicated than that. How i would describe what trump is doing in some of his language, some of the language we are hearing from other candidates now, they are creating a permissive structure. They are creating permission to utilize violence as an extension of just our political debates. They are normalizing it. There we winking at, they are nodding at it, they are essentially, you know, serving as a magnet for it. And that is why it has to be condemned from the top, from the leadership, within the gop as well. And essentially make the price of this conduct a sufficiently high one, that people will not do it. So it is the arrests we are seeing. It is the investigations we are seeing. It is the deplatforming of particular individuals. All of those things make the price higher for people who are going to legitimize violence. Not thoughts, not words, violence. As a means to, as part of our democratic process. So we have to get rid of that permissive structure and that comes, that is coming from someone who is likely to be the candidate, the nominee in the for the gop. Juliette kayyem, shimon prokupecz, thank you so much. Horrific apocalypse scenes. Wildfires ravaging hawaii tonight. Six people are dead. Thousands evacuated. And many more homes have been destroyed. We have learned that they coasted had to rescue people who jumped into the ocean to escape the flames. Cnns Correspondent Veronica Miracle is on the ground. Veronica, tell us what youre seeing on the ground. Kaitlan, the situation is incredibly dire. Even as we were flying, and we could see some of the smoke from one of the three wildfires burning on the island of maui. You can see its. One of those fires behind me. Weve seen it evolve over the last couple of hours. Usually, this is a beautiful beach but its all covered by smoke. The real destruction and damage is about 30 minutes over in lahaina, that is where the main street has been damaged and destroyed. Thousands of people are stranded, what that power, without water, without resources. There was one road in and out. It is blocked. Only emergency vehicles, and weve heard sirens throughout the afternoon, and people working and supplies. Im standing at a marina. The other way you can get there is by sea, which as you can see, the sea is incredibly choppy. Its incredibly windy right now. There have been many Expedition Boats that normally take people whale watching. They have been bringing supplies. From volunteers showed up at this marina, as well as distributors, local businesses, bring water, mattresses, anything that people over on the other side of the island might need. They have been loading up the boats and the boats have been going all the way around. They cant land and dock at the area directly impacted for a number of reasons. Including all the damage and destruction there are other docks. Theyre meeting up with other sailboats, and also trying to [inaudible] veronica miracle, in maui, stay safe. Well check back in with you. Thank you for being there. Joining me now is Daniel Sullivan who lives on maui and is experiencing, essentially, over the past 24 hours. I cant imagine i know youve got your kids, family, and pets there. Can you walk me through what the last 24 hours have been like for you and your family . Yeah, its been a sleepless 24 hours. It started with the Winds From Dora and all the trees were knocked down around our neighborhood. So the first thing, we dealt with roads being blocked. The winds were crazy, a lot stronger than we thought. Then the fire started about midday and started spreading really fast. We started with a fire, kind of, east from our house. And one coming in behind the house. And one underneath the house. So by nightfall, the electricity had gone out. We had no idea what was going on. We just knew that the entire island was going up in flames. We saw fire as far as you could see. And i just went up on my roof and i watched as the flames got closer and closer. We had no way to get out because the roads were blocked. The fire was blocking anything that didnt have a tree falling on it. And the shelters that people had gone to were having to be evacuated because the fires were taking over the shelters. It was apocalyptic. I havent seen anything like it. You didnt sleep at all last night . I havent slept, no. I was on my roof of not, just waiting for the go. My kids were downstairs, sleeping, and i was just ready to go at any moment if the flames got too close. What is your concern about i mean, whats your backup plan . Theres major transportation issues. The Lieutenant Governor has said, you just talked about the roads being blocked. What does a family like yours too and as it wasnt like that when its difficult to call not 11, its difficult to live your home . Youre obviously staying up not to see if you can see a fire, but what are you supposed to do . There is nothing you can do. The water was off, we were yeah, i did not when the wind started, we didnt see this happening. It was kind of a perfect storm because it was the drought weve been having for days, it was this hurricane winds, and i think the downed electrical lines out whats loved it here. And it just pick not at the entire island. As youve seen in footage, front straight burned completely. Those for 200 year Old Buildings almost out of wood. Blocks and blocks of businesses, all gone. I have many friends whove lost their homes. It has been decimated. Weve never seen anything like this. You said youve lived here 20 years. Daniel sullivan, we are Thinking Of You and your friends. Prosecutors sought to keep that warant secret fromrump, and a d. C. Court ruled in their favor, saying, quote, they were recently grounds to believe that disclosing the warrants to former President Trump would seriously jeopardize the Ongoing Investigation by giving him an opportunity to destroy evidence. Twitter, which i should note, is now known as x, initially resisted that warrant. The company was fined 350,000 for the delay and was forced to turn over the records, which they eventually did in february. Lets talk about this with Cybersecurity Expert alex stamos, who is also facebooks chief security officer. Obviously trumps tweets are public information, you can look at them. But what would a Search Warrant get the Special Counsel the public doesnt have access to . There is a boring explanation, and a couple more exciting possibilities. We want the exciting ones okay, the boring explanation is, it is not uncommon for prosecutors around the country to send Search Warrants to social Media Companies for public content, just so they can have a good strong chain of custody and they can prove, in court, this was something. As youve pointed out, the President Trump tweeted on january 6th, they have been report voted on in the media was a prosecutor is going to want the ability to hold up the witness who can say, definitively, these tweets came from this device at this exact time. That includes the three that were deleted. One of the key things thats happened here, when President Trumps account was reinstated by mr. Musk after his takeover of twitter, the tweets that were most inflammatory on january 6th did not exist. So i think part of it might also be going into twitters database get evidence of those tweets, and to prove that it was President Trump himself that sent it. I think it is theres a complication about was account. Its pretty widely believed that overtime, many different people have had access to the real donald trump account, because youll say the things that are obviously written by President Trump and the things that seem to be written by aides or campaign workers. And so what they want is the data that only twitter has, that proves this tweet was sent on this phone at this time at this location, which would be strong evidence it with President Trump himself who typed it out. And those tweets that immediately come to mind our, well be wild on january 6th, that pence didnt have the courage. Because the whole shed light on maybe things that werent sent, maybe drafted, not actually isnt . I dont know if he ever wrote a message to people on twitter but thats an option to people as well. Those are things that the prosecutors there could be drafts of tweets that he wrote and did not send. Thinks he wrote and deleted right before, or that are still in his draft folder. Theres also the possibility of its pretty widely reported, President Trump didnt use dms too often, so i dont see that as extremely likely. I expect this is mostly about being able to prove it was President Trump himself and not one of the many people who hate someone had access to his account, that sent those tweets of interest. Until today, this was secret. Trump, i believe, found out about it or his legal team found out about over the summer. Twitter was fined 350,000 because they didnt comply with this immediately, didnt meet the deadline. They were arguing, basically, they should be able to inform trump and his legal team about it because they believed not doing so violated his First Amendment rights. Is that pretty standard for a company like twitter to take that route . Theres a couple of things going on here. First, the gag order that was attached to the warrant. Which turns out to be a pretty common purpose prosecutors. That they do not want the subject of investigations to know there are investigations. Its been a very controversial practice. Whats happened over the years is the case law that has developed, that the only person who can really challenge the search for it is the person whos tired themselves. Not the companies. But as a person who is the target doesnt know, that they cant go fight it. There is a lot of history here, Tech Companies fighting in court is what we want to drop this gag order so that we ca n give this person a fair chance of fighting the Search Warrant. In fact, when i was at facebook, that happened multiple times. I got cold into multiple cases where we made that argument. The second thing thats going on is the overall idea here, the Special Counsel wants to be able to maintain the integrity of this data. Possibly also included the integrity of data on President Trumps phone. I think thats one of the interesting questions that hasnt been asked. Could this be a broader search of devices, other Search Warrants we dont know about yet . That would be a normal part of the prosecution for this kind of evidence you would not be looking in the cloud, but you will be looking at the devices. Because they will have other pieces of data that are available to twitter. As for the fine, twitter did fight this, but they also just had mess ups. If you look at the appellant records, when the Search Warrant came out, it is the first time they try to upload the warrant to ask twitter. Footers Law Enforcement partially the story here, all of these layoffs and firings. Their getting rid of skilled talented people at twitter. Mr. Musk has broken basically mentally, such as having the ability to handle sort warrants. Theres so many different threads, alex thank you for joining to break it all down. Thank you, caitlin. By a 14 point margin voters there rejected a change to the states constitution that was part of an effort to stop an Abortion Rights amendment that is goi to be on the ballot come november. They wanted to raise the threshold, and they voted against that last night. Arizona is not among nine states where groups are also looking to expand Abortion Access through initiatives next year. A group in arizona released a proposal that would enshrine protections in their states constitution. The first step is making sure they get enough signatures to be on the ballot actually in 2024. Arizonas democratic Governor Katie Hobbs joins me now. Governor, thanks for joining me. Last nights we call that as we were on the air last night, ohio is the fourth red state along with kansas, kentucky and montana to have essentially voted on the Abortion Rights side of a measure since the Supreme Court overturned roe v. Wade, do you think your state will be next . Absolutely, arizona is energized over this issue just as weve seen over the country. They are energized to get this measure to the ballot and have a chance to get their say on it in november. Im confident that they will vote for the constitutional right to an abortion. Of course weve seen that happen in several states, its mobilizing voters in a way that certainly republicans were not expecting. The question is if this does get on the ballot in arizona, do you think it could mobilize democrats in your state who maybe arent as enthusiastic about voting for President Biden but would go to the polls to vote for this measure . Well, we certainly saw it play out that way in the last election in 2022, that energy and momentum is continuing for sure. We are under uncertain legal status when it comes to abortion. Its one bad Court Decision away from a total ban that carries prison time for doctors. And, the majority, the vast majority of arizonians support the ability to make personal Health Care Decisions free from the interference of government. Right now arizona bans most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The proposed language in this measure would guarantee the right to an abortion up until fetal viability, which is essentially 22, to 24 weeks of pregnancy. Do you personally back that timeline . Well, again, i think these are decisions that is best left to Health Care Professionals and their patients i support peoples ability to make their own personal Health Care Decisions, without the interference of politicians. But, i think the question on the other side would be is there any point to the presidency where you do believe that abortion should be restricted . Well, the language in this Ballot Measure protects that right up to viability, determined by Health Care Professionals. And there is an exception further down the line when the life of the woman is at risk. I certainly support that exception. But if a bill was brought to your desk now that you are our governor and there were restrictions, i mean what is a number of weeks that you would personally support that, you would personally back . Well, again i continue to say that i support the language in this measure that leaves the viability determination to Health Care Professionals. But you do support, okay, so you support the language in the measure which is fetal viability. One other thing the last time you and i spoke was when you were running for governor of course, you are running against kari leg, there is reporting that she is preparing to launch another run to represent arizona, this would be for the senate, she still has not conceded to you of course in any other election that youve won. What do you make of her trying to represent your state again . Well, i think it would mean that she would have to admit that she is not actually the governor if she chose to launch a senate bid. I think arizonans are tired of her continued Election Denialism and conspiracy theories and that is something that they will get their chance to say their piece next november. What do you see about the role your state plays in the broader scheme that we are seeing, the fake electors scheme when it comes to former President Trump and his indictment that came last week . Well i was in the middle of a lot of that as the Secretary Of State and i certainly, you know arizona played an Essential Role and i was focused on my role in defending the voters in these attacks. I am glad that we are starting to see some accountability for these bad actors who try to overturn the will of the voters. Jack smith reached out to the then governor of your state to speak to him, did he ever reach out to you . No, he has not. Okay arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, thank you for your time tonight.
