So Thats Something that looked very suspicious and in the car drove the car to the back of his truck of some kind and took pictures of the License Plate Game to the Sheriffs Office i just want to note as we are hearing from trump on this, what we did hear from Authorities Today is his rifle was actually not an ak47, is they initially thought today it was a different kind of rifle. You dont need any more intent or anything. So were going to keep behind bars for that and youve got the other charge obliterating a serial number on a firearm. They got that to punishable by up to five years in prison. Theres still maybe a chance up. And i think a probability that more charges could come, like aggravated assault with a firearm against a federal law enforce horseman officer. Thats when the suspect pointed his rifle allegedly at a secret Service Agent. So that can get you up to 20 years in prison. So i think the feds are going to keep investigating and ultimately they could add on some new charges. Well, what about given clearly there was premeditation here. There was the gopro, this person was lying there and wait for about 12 hours. They still the Cell Phone data. What other charges could we potentially see here . Because that was a big Question Today when it was just those first two per pertaining to this gun itself . Well, that aggravated assault with a deadly weapon thats a possibility. Theres also a federal statute on threatening an Ex President that can get you up to five years in prison. Theyre going to look to see what is Social Media sites say, what was in the bag, what writings hes had, what kind of threats hes given. And that could be an additional charge generally, when it comes to like, attempted murder, thats more a state charges and a federal charge, but also i think you need more than you have right now. You really have to get into his state of mind. Hes got to take us a substantial step into taking action that mean its always a possibility, but generally, those kinds of charges are really at the State Level rather than the federal level, but make no mistake. I think this guy is a whole world of hurt. Hes going to be facing many years in prison and hes not going to get out of jail pending trial. Theyre going to show that hes a danger to the community. So hes not going to get pretrial release. We heard from the sheriff and Palm Beach County earlier today talking about how maralago is about a safe as it can be at this point, talking about the level of protection at that place. But obviously the Golf Course is separate than that. Its about a 15minute Drive as you will know, its across the bridge in west Palm Beach. How much harder . For is it to secure something like the Trump International Golf Course that it is the maralago club, which has that one entrance in one entrance out with obviously a Guard Shack at the front of it and a much harder perimeter. It seems yes. In fact, maralago is bordered on one side by water and they can easily shut down the roads. In Fact Theyve shut down the road, one major road outside of maralago, even when the former president is not there and thats the consternation of the Palm Beach residence now, in west Palm Beach, as much harder to shut down the roads, you got made youre roads right outside of the golf club, which youre correct about ten to 15 minutes away. Theres also those large shrubbery, the trees that are right in front of the fence. And so someone could hide in that and some very large perimeter. Its very difficult to monitor that entire area, especially if youve got someone willing to wait for 12 hours hours to go there on the cover of darkness. You can see officials have their guns drawn. Theyre directing him to back up with his hands in the air. He lifts his shirt seemingly to it to show he doesnt have any weapons or anything on him. And he still was able to get out 45 minutes of a Head Start driving north apparently perhaps driving back to North Carolina but he only got as far as the County North of Palm Beach, Martin County where the deputies at a great stop.
