We were telling people to have 70 to our kids on hand to have water, to have food, to have medicines are standard messaging is that make sure you have three days worth of air, all the supplies you would need to include flashlights and batteries and a way to communicate charters for your phone. So we definitely got the message out to our residents what do you think is the biggest challenge that folks are facing right now as they try to regroup, we understand that communications are difficult. At best what do you think folks need most out there . Well, right now were still working with the basic needs of our residents and Visitors Food and water are tremendous need right now. Just a couple of hours ago, we opened our first Water Station in the city of asheville, were able to give water to the people are residents and our visitors where we are given out a Gun Gallon per person up to five gallons per family per day. But we were very excited to get that going, but we still need to have food. We still need to open up communications. We still need to get the roads and the infrastructure back up and going and this is going to be a longterm event for the city of asheville. Our Water Distribution System took a tremendous hit. We are unable to distribute for your Water Pipes and that has all kinds of Cascading Events from the chillers for for different businesses are hospitals, our firefighting capability. There are so many downstream effects from the storm that are not related to just the flood, but as a result of the damage of the flood im also wondering, sir, whether you might have an update on the Death Toll. We cant put them in our hotels because there is no electric and no Running Water anywhere so its very, very difficult to find places where it seems we need to find a flat grounds so that we can build basically base camps to put as many of these responders. And as we can so weve got real problems here and asheville and where i could say that the staff here in the city of asheville are extremely dedicated and we put together the infrastructure that we need internally to bring the Aid And Care to our residents. We just need the equipment and the food and the water from outside to get into here so that we can start giving it to our residents. Not to mention the areas that are still Cut Off and i think thats why its going to be a combination of getting roads open. But also using helicopters to get some of those outlying communities that the roads are just gone so were hearing from people in North Carolina in particular that comms are a big problem. People are entirely Cut Off from cell service. Are you worried that local officials and fema might not have full visibility of the problems. And also that this Death Toll could jump once we get more cams well, ive ive seen this happened before and tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes, where we need to be careful not to equate people missing or unaccounted for would people whove lost their lives a lot of this is communications will improve. Well start getting people checking in. Im not saying there wont be more for loss of life, but ive seen this where people have taken the people missing or people not accounted for equate that to loss of life. And thats not something we generally see. So i would just reassure people that is communication comes up. Well get a better idea of how people are doing. And were already getting reports that while these areas are Cut Off, he had to report earlier where theyre having to go in by foot to get some of these areas. So just because we still have a lot of people on account for debt, does hopefully does not mean that is the number of people whove lost. Yeah, thats a very good reminder.
