Communication and trust issues continue to hold the Willmar City Council back
The Willmar City Council continues to grapple with miscommunication, distrust and power struggles. Recent meetings have brought some of the issues back into focus. Past efforts to solve the challenges have not seemed to work as the finger pointing between the mayor and the council remains.

WILLMAR — As the city of Willmar tries to complete major plans, such as a new city hall and the projects funded by the local option sales tax ,along with continuing to provide services the residents require and expect, concerns continue to fester about the Willmar City Council's ability to work together.
